초록

This study analyzed the content of caffeine and sugar in coffee beverages and
coffee bar’s coffees in Seoul. Four types of coffee, Caffe Latte, Macchiato, Americano
and Cappuccino were selected from coffees available at 17 different coffee bar’s. The
caffeine content for coffee beverage was 42.61 mg/100 mL in Americano, 42.38 mg/100
mL in Caffe Latte, 36.62 mg/100 mL in Cappuccino, and 33.85 mg/100 mL in Macchiato.
The caffeine content in coffee bar’s coffees was 51.98 mg/100 mL for Cappuccino, 45.56
mg/100 mL for Americano, 44.95 mg/100 mL for Caffe Latte, and 41.22 mg/100 mL for
Macchiato. The sugar content in Caffe Latte and Cappuccino was 7.47 g/100 mL, and
6.77 g/100 mL, respectively which is approximately two-times higher than that in the
coffee bar’s coffee. The sugar content in Macchiato was 9.42 g/100 mL for the coffee
bar’s coffee, and 8.16 g/100 mL for the coffee beverage. The sugar composition of the
