초록
This study was conducted to monitor hazardous residues including heavy metalsand veterinary drugs in commercial pet food products, which were sold in the animal
hospitals of Seoul, Korea, in 2017. The hazardous residues were subdivided into three
categories. These were heavy metals, tetracyclines, and quinolones. The content of heavy
metals, such as lead(Pb), cadmium(Cd), and arsenic(As), were analyzed using inductively
coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. A selective method that combined high
performance liquid chromatography with a MS/MS detector was used to simultaneously
identify four tetracycline antibiotics. These were chlortetracycline, doxycycline,
oxytetracycline, and tetracycline. Residual quinolones, such as enrofloxacin, ciprofloxacin,
norfloxacin, ofloxacin, pefloxacin, nalidixic acid, flumequin, sarafloxacin, marbofloxacin,
danofloxacin, difloxacin, oxolinic acid, and orbifloxacin were monitored according to the
method outlined in the Korea Food Code
